Painting is inevitable when it comes to my practice.I see painting as a form of expression, other times as a form of capture. When I paint I find myself drawn to painting in a more figurative and stylistic fashion.  I find it fascinating getting to know more about living things such as animals and people by creating art.  The challenge of capturing the whole person or the animal's personality and their physical appearance is what drives me to paint whole heartedly .  For some of my paintings, I have incorporated humour. Humour is integral to some of my pieces in order to evoke a positive reaction from whoever encounters them. To engage laughter from the viewer towards my pieces.
